The Digital Fabrication Lab (DigiFabLab) is a state-of-the-art digital prototyping and fabrication facility which provides digital tools that allow students to practice and explore iterative design thinking, the heart of design education. From conceptual explorations to hands-on prototyping, the Lab expands design thinking and design making in the College.
The DigiFabLab is a subsidiary of the W.L. Hall Workshop: Workshop Technicians provide instruction and support of all DigiFabLab capabilities.
The CDES Digital Fabrication Laboratory is supported entirely by CDES collegiate fees. Services to students and interests outside of the College of Design are handled on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the CDES facilities use policy.
