The College of Design's Digital Collections and Archives Unit (DCA) is a resource for digital content production and description for teaching and research. Services are available to all CDes faculty, students, and staff by consultation.
Currently 80,000 of the 300,000 35mm slides in the archive have been scanned and cataloged, and are available for download as part of the Digital Content Library, a collaboration between CDes and CLA which is open to the entire University community. In addition to the conversion of the slide archive to digital format, the collection continues to grow through requests and donations (see Services and Support). Images are available for educational use consistent with the fair use provisions of U.S. copyright law.
To download presentation sized images from the Digital Content Library log-in using your University of Minnesota x.500 username and password.
