Advising Appointments
As a College of Design student, you have an academic adviser assigned to you who serves as the primary resource person during your academic career. Your adviser can help you in many ways, so be sure to connect with him/her on a regular basis.
Academic advisers offer individual appointments as well as weekly drop-in hours meant for 5-10 minute sessions. Use drop-in hours for:
- Brief review of your current semester class schedule
- Petition process discussions
- Follow-up signatures for academic forms (after initial advising appointment)
- Short Q & A's
